If we start from the latest news, we can say that Bastian is the new Porsche Junior driver. He was recently selected in Jerez after wining the Porsche 2022 shoot out. He competed against another twelve Porsche cup drivers, coming from around the world.

ok, but what is his background?
Mr. Buus is from Denmark. Born 19 years ago in Kolding. He started his racing career in 2013 in go karts, in the Kaddet Junior. He slowly climbed the ladder until reaching at the age of 13 the international categories in 2017.
2018 is a year he considers as "a year I will never forget". He drove well beyond his expectations the Aquila Synergy Cup , alongside the DKM karting series.
In 2020 he finally took the leap into GT cars, hand in hand with Allied Racing. This was the beginning of a short but successful partnership. In his first year he won the GT4 European Series Pro-Am Cup. After such a success, he signed a 2 year contract with them to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.
2021 was as fruitful as the previous year, with 2 podiums finishes and a rookie champions. That put him in a strong position inside the Porsche cup field, pushing him to sign another contract with Lechner Racing.
This present year he competed in the PCCD with Allied Racing and in the PCCF and PMSC with Lechner Racing. He finished 4th in all three championships, achieving one win in the German cup and in the Supercup.
His showed he is ready to fight for the overall championships. A prove of that is the Porsche Junior position he has just inherited from Laurin Heinrich. He will now receive the sporting support from Porsche Motorsport together with 250.000€ to invest in the biggest one-make cup series over the world.
